Change in mailing dates:

 I am writing this quarterly message a few days before Christmas which should be received by our members on December 27th.  We have also decided to move the future mailing dates for quarterly newsletters and billings. We plan to have them in your hands by the 27th of the preceding month coming due.  Members will still have until the following 15th before being considered past due.  Those on bank drafts will not be effected in any way.

Change in Dues:

Our monthly/quarterly dues will be changing January 1st.

However, although dues will increase, your net cost will not increase!

I am happy to tell you that our club recently received a

letter of exemption for sales tax on the “dues only” portion of the billing.

The dues increase will be slightly less than the sales tax previously paid.  This will allow us to take on some major projects that are needed here at the club beginning with the replacement of our irrigation system on the front nine and expansion of our clubhouse and practice putting green. 

These improvements will begin in 2012.

Survey members:

We will be conducting a survey with our members through your email addresses and survey forms available at the Pro Shop and Grill.  If you have an email address please share it with us so we can communicate more often.

Also, check our website at:  www.thecourseatriveroaks.com  The survey will be conducted in January, 2012.  Tell us what you think we are doing well and also what you think we should improve or change.

Enrollment of members:

We currently have 306 members.  If a member brings us a new prospect that joins the club, $100 will be credited to your Pro Shop or Grill charges at the end of the next quarter.  If you bring a second prospect who joins, then $200 will be credited to you for the second new member.
